Vienna Festival Ballet celebrate 35 years with their 35th Anniversary Gala. We are proud to present highlights from the world's most beloved Tchaikovsky ballets which have featured in our repertoire over the past 35 years.

Highlights will include the moment when the Swan Queen meets her prince in Act 2 Swan Lake, the Dance of the Cygnets, Clara's journey to a glittering land of snow in The Nutcracker, and the famous Rose Adagio from Sleeping Beauty, where Princess Aurora is introduced to four princes.

Vienna Festival Ballet’s The Nutcracker

Groups of lads, couples, and families packed in to Exeter’s Corn Exchange over the weekend to watch the Vienna Festival Ballet’s adaption of The Nutcracker. The dance troupe, made up of male and female dancers from across the globe, gave me my first taste of a ballet show.

Props are minimal if not void for ballet shows, so it was the shadow of ballet shoes from beneath the curtains and music from Tchaikovsky that got the crowds buzzing with anticipation ahead of the performance.

The Nutcracker comes to Exeter

Ballet fans and new audiences are in for a treat when one of Tchaikovsky's world famous classical ballets The Nutcracker comes to Exeter.

The enchanting tale of The Nutcracker is one of the best-loved ballets and centres around Clara and her nutcracker doll, which magically transforms into a princely soldier.

Their adventures see the Prince and Clara combat the Mouse King and join the Sugar Plum Fairy for a wonderful trip to a Kingdom made entirely of sweets.

Cassa Pancho's award-winning Ballet Black is to return to the Exeter Northcott Theatre for the fourth time as they celebrate the talents of black and Asian dancers from around the world. Vienna Festival Ballet is proud to present their new Spring Ballet for the 2014 Season - the classic tale of Cinderella one of the best-known rags-to-riches fairy tales of all time. A mistreated young girl, a glass slipper, two comical ugly step-sisters and a handsome prince combine to make the perfect piece of story-telling.

With a collection of music taken from the vast array from great Italian composer Rossini's most famous operatic achievements, a magical melange of music has been chosen that is sure to astonish and amaze.
