Modern Cautionary Tales for Children

From the moment Murray Lachlan Young bounds onto the stage, hair wrapped in a towel, dressing gown flapping, you know you’re in for a good time. His poetry is funny, observational and entirely silly. His audience banter is even funnier. And with Young, audience participation for both children and ex-children (as he calls us) is neither awkward nor embarrassing, just fun.

An innovative and ground-breaking poetry show written and performed by Murray Lachlan Young, one of the UK’s foremost performance poets BBC 6 Resident poet and a regular fixture on BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live etc; Expect a mixture of: poetry, stand-up comedy, storytelling and a touch of panto making for a hilarious and positive route to showing children that poetry can be fun, thought-provoking and occasionally quite cool!
