David Harbottle & Freya Jonas are based in the wilderness of Totnes. They paint pictures with their words and share stories of folk, auld and new. They are hardworking songsmiths who place emphasis on musical independence and originality, and they breathe new life into traditional English Folk songs.

They have gigged extensively in Ireland and Italy, and have appeared on both Irish and Italian radio and television. Following on from the EP releases of ‘Strangers’, ‘Ferrara Girl’ and most recently ‘Dawn Breaks’ they are currently working towards the release of their debut album ‘Cutthorpe Hill’.

DEVONBIRD

Devonbird is a Devon-based trio who perform original and traditional folk tunes, many of which are inspired by their passion for local folklore, rural landscapes and singer/songwriters such as John Martyn and Martin Carthy . A firm favourite at many trad folk clubs and festivals, the trio reached the final of the South West Music Awards 2013, after being nominated for the Best Folk Act award.
