Moscow-born Daria Kulesh combines a “truly extraordinary voice” with strong Russian and Ingush heritage. Her debut solo album Eternal Child was described as “phenomenal” by FATEA Magazine and named “Album of the Month” and Runner Up in “Best Album of 2015 from a Female Artist” by FolkWords, among numerous other accolades, awards and nominations.

Since the launch of Eternal Child in 2015, Daria has had many folk club and festival bookings, invited for live radio sessions across the BBC and independent/local network, toured the UK (Hemel to Hebrides tour July-August 2015, West Country tour May 2016, UK tour with KARA June 2016), Ireland, Russia and Ingushetia (with national TV appearances).
She has been featured in The Times, The Telegraph and The Evening Standard. Daria is also part of KARA, a "unique and innovative" Russian/English folk fusion quartet, and of the new folk supergroup The Company of Players.

Daria solo album Long Lost Home will be launched on 23 February 2017.
Daria's personal link to the stories injects the songs with raw passion and power; the single from the upcoming album, The Moon and the Pilot, has been described by Mike Harding as “one of the most beautiful new songs of the last 10 years”.

The date of the album launch – 23rd February – marks the tragic anniversary of Stalin’s outrageous injustice, the deportation of the Ingush and the Chechens in 1944. Yet Long Lost Home isn’t all about tragedy – it’s a brave, exciting celebration of the unique identity, spirit, culture, history and traditions of Ingushetia in the year of the republic’s 25th anniversary.

The Gift EP (a 4-track Pledge Music exclusive preview of Long Lost Home) has just been named Laurel Canyon Music's EP of the Year 2016. "If these four tracks are representative of her forthcoming album, "Long Lost Home", due to be released on the 23rd February 2017, it should be a definite contender for the best album of 2017". (Pete Bradley, Fatea Magazine)

“The whole album is amazing” Joe Tracey, Joe Tee Shuffle (Australia)

“All the songs are beautiful. The whole album is a triumph” Chris Arscott, Triangle Radio

"Superb... When I first listened to the record after every song I thought, “go on, top that” and, remarkably, Daria does just that." Dai Jeffries, Folking.com
