Colin Wilson, Dave Eustace and Keith Hunter formed The Boys from Melbourne Street in December 2003 and have been writing, recording and performing consistently since then.

They are easily at home playing at large and small Festivals, in Clubs, Bistros, Concert Halls, Pubs, Beer Fests and Art Centres; they have headlined many a venue as well as supported National and International artists.

The Boys have produced a large body of original material, eclectic in style and genre covering almost any topic or subject.

Their music will touch sensitive nerves, stand hairs up on the back of your neck, get your feet tapping, have you smiling and joining in the fun of singing along with their unusual and original brand of sound and music. They will have you captivated on the night, especially Dave’s percussion and Ukulele skills, Colin’s full guitar sound and mellifluous vocals and Keith’s fabulous fretless bass.

All of this has been captured on their last four albums ,the latest being Ship of Fools, along with plenty of unrecorded material.

"They’re a jovial bunch whose friendship shines through. This is the third or fourth time I’ve met “The Boys” and every time it’s been fun. Not exactly the youngest boy band I’ve had in the studio."
John Govier, BBC Radio

"They aren’t Jazz, folk, country, pop, rock or blues, but they could be, whatever label you wish to attach the The Boys from Melbourne Street, Original is one and Unique is another."
Bradninch Music Festival

"“The Boys from Melbourne Street'”, it was impossible to categorise their music other than to say it was a mixture of Acoustic Folk, Rock, Jazz and originality. Their lead singer, who was not only a very accomplished guitarist, but had a voice not unlike Peter Gabriel, If you get a chance to see them, do, you won’t be disappointed."
