Bluesbury Festival of Folk, Blues and Roots Festival in aid of FORCE Cancer Charity

Final arrangements are now in place for the second festival of Folk, Blues and Roots in aid of FORCE Cancer Charity, and taking place over Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June at ‘The Maltsters Arms’, Woodbury.

For the evening performance on Friday 20th, doors open at 7:00 pm, and the night includes performances from Cloudi Lewis, ‘Hooper ‘n Mills’, Josie Lloyd and Alex Kumar.

The line-up for Saturday afternoon (21st June) is taking shape - doors open at 12:30pm for a relaxed afternoon of cream teas and mainly acoustic music, including Woodbury School Choir, Kirsty Bennett, ‘Bicton Street Blues’ who and Neil Quaintance.

Saturday evening features ‘Blue Swayed Blues’, ‘Ben & Si's Stompin' Blues’, ‘The Sensational Travelling Bluesburys’ and ‘Julian Piper’s Buffalo Angels’.

All performers and organisers have generously agreed to donate their time for free.

Ticket prices are £5 for Friday evening; £5 for Saturday evening or £8 for a weekender

For the Saturday afternoon event, entry will be free – but don’t forget some money as there will be cream teas available to buy and enjoy!
