itsu, with over 80 restaurants in the UK, is opening in Exeter on Friday 19th April at 11am. itsu is dedicated to providing an Asian-inspired health[ier] menu which is nutritious, fast & affordable. Dishes are packed with wholegrains, fibre, proteins & greens including freshly made sushi, rice & noodle’bowls and steamed gyoza & bao’buns.

On 10th February it will be exactly one year since Brightside Exeter opened its doors. To celebrate its first birthday the Brightside team is throwing a party at the site, located on the A38 at Haldon Hill, to thank the local community for all the support they have shown them over the past 12 months and to launch a new and exciting charity initiative – Brightside Local Heroes.

Snark is now fully open at her berth at Piazza Terracina. The first three weeks have been a great success with over 100 happy diners enjoying our Moorish set dinners and brunches.

For the next two weeks they head to Italy with a four course warming autumnal menu of classic Italian dishes; preserved meats and vegetables, rich pastas, hearty stews and luscious deserts. Mellow Italian wines and English ale sold over the bar.

They also have a number of special winter festival meals planned over the next two months as well as some pop-up special dinners on Wednesday evenings...

Darts Farm celebrated the first anniversary of its new restaurant, The Farm Table, in July by welcoming two iconic chefs to take over the kitchen for the evening.

Great British Menu winner, Mark Hix and local seafood hero, Mitch Tonks, created a unique 5-course seasonal menu, combining their celebrated styles with produce from the fields at Darts Farm and incredible artisan ingredients from the food hall; whilst sharing their stories about a lifetime of friendship through food.

It’s no secret that the hospitality sector is facing something of a recruitment crisis.

A combination of Brexit and the pandemic have led to a dearth of staff who are prepared to work unsociable hours for, very often, little more than the minimum wage.
