Otter Brewery continues Pints Mean Trees Campaign success at Lympstone Manor

Lympstone Manor is the latest Southwest hospitality venue to benefit from Otter Brewery’s Pints mean Tress initiative, run together with Saving Devon’s Treescapes.

On Friday 7th, April 2023, Michael Caines MBE was joined by Otter Brewery’s Managing Director, Patrick McCaig, Estate Manager Adam Street, and Saving Devon’s Treescapes Lead, Rosie Cotgreave to plant several trees in the grounds of Lympstone Manor. The planting of these trees takes Otter Brewery one step closer to hitting the 250,000 target that they set in 2022.

Exeter Chiefs dig deep to support Pints Mean Trees

Two-time Premiership Rugby winners the Exeter Chiefs, are lending their support to Otter Brewery’s #PintsMeanTrees scheme – an environmental initiative which sees the Devon based producer of quality cask ales and lager plant a tree for every brewer’s barrel they sell in 2022.

On Thursday 24th March, Otter Brewery Managing Director Patrick McCaig joined Tony Rowe OBE, Chairman and Chief Executive of The Exeter Chiefs, plus England international Henry Slade and Club Captain, Jack Yeandle to plant the first of 50 trees at the Chiefs’ home ground of Sandy Park.

The Sandy Park Wild West Real Ale & Cider Festival, in association with Otter Brewery and Heineken, will be running alongside the Mitsubishi Motors Exeter 7s, but a special launch night will take place on Friday 8th July.

From 6.30pm, the Wigwam Bar will be open with a range of real ales and ciders on offer. Tickets for this event will be priced at £7 and will include a commemorative half-pint cup and three half-pints.

Double silver for Otter Brewery

Silver anniversary celebrations continue for Otter Brewery with silver at the South West’s largest beer festival.

Otter Head has won Silver in the 'Strong Bitters & Pale Ales' class at SIBA's 23rd South West Beer Competition.

Brewed by Otter Brewery in the Blackdown Hills near Honiton, the beer was entered for judging as part of the 2015 beer festival – an event that takes place at Tuckers Maltings in Newton Abbot each year.
