Exeter Children's Orchestra return to the Corn Exchange for their summer concert featuring Orchestre Jeune de Haute Bretagne, a visiting French orchestra.
The accomplished French orchestra of young people (14-24 age range), called the L'Orchestre des Jeunes de Haute Bretagne, are visiting Exeter this July. The OJHB are based in Rennes, Brittany, but they have travelled and performed extensively, including Japan, the US and China as well as many European countries. This summer they are the guests of the Exeter Children's Orchestra, and will be performing at several Exeter venues....
The Exeter Children's Orchestra is a group of local kids who love music and meet to practise under the baton of their inspirational conductor, Richard Bowyer. They play a mixture of classical, pop and other styles, and they and their audience always have a great time!
Following another successful year of performances, which included a tour to Exeter's twin city of Rennes, the talented Exeter Children's Orchestra returns with their annual Christmas concert.
They will be playing a selection of Christmas-themed music to get everyone in the seasonal spirit. Guest performers this year will be South West Camerata, an exceptional youth string ensemble, who were invited this year to perform at the Edinburgh Festival.
