Lisa Singleton, the owner of graphic design company, Zebra Design, is thrilled to have been nominated for the Venus Awards Devon in the category of Business Mother and Home-Based Business and is over the moon to have reached the semi-finals in both categories.

The Venus Awards were founded in Brighton by Tara Howard, Managing Director of Langtry Manor Hotels to celebrate and recognise the growing number of women in business and take place currently in Dorset, Southampton, Brighton and Devon but will soon by expanding to Bristol and Birmingam.

Zoe Elder has been awarded a diploma for the first stage of her Design and Digital Print apprenticeship.

19-year-old Zoe, who has worked for Exeter-based design and print company Peninsular OneSource for 18 months, enrolled on the apprenticeship scheme run by the Alliance Sector Skills Council in Association with Plymouth College Art. As part of the overall course she attends the college on a monthly day release basis.
