10 Things Men Are Better Than Women At

Here at TED we like to be fair. So as we posted up yesterday about all the things women are better at, we thought it only fair to highlight the areas of speciality a man posesses...

#1 – Do It Yourself

Tools – the main item of the male wish list and the reason for ‘tool envy’ the world over. And yes, men are undoubtedly better than women at D.I.Y, just as women are better at applying nail varnish – fact. Even better, it keeps them out of the way too.

#2 – Football

It’s the sport that men live, breathe and dream of. They organise their wedding date around it...

Now the peak season is over, the two resorts have...

Authored by Martyn Goss

Or to be less controversial, what might our attitudes be to driving that express something of the spiritual and ethical values that are central to religious tradition? Neil Parish MP supports Guide Dogs' call to keep pedestrians safe from silent menace

Mr Parish has supported Guide Dogs’ call for the installation of a vital safety feature on quiet hybrid and electric vehicles to keep pedestrians safe, by attending a reception at the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 26 June. The Tiverton and Honiton MP was amongst the large number of Members of Parliament who backed the charity's call to install artificial noise generators on quiet vehicles. Research shows that some quiet vehicles cannot be heard until one second before impact and, in certain conditions, are more likely to be involved in a collision with a pedestrian than conventional...

Plans for The Highways Agency becoming a New Co could lead to Road Tolling for Motorists

The PCS are trying to prevent the Highways Agency being turned into a government owned company which could eventually lead to tolls being introduced onto Britain’s roads.

The coalition government want to pass control of the valued £111 billion, strategic road network of England to a ‘strategic highways company’ which would be out of direct oversight of parliament.

With said value, foreign sovereign wealth funds could potentially be attracted to the road network, just like the nation’s water companies.

There would be a high impact on smaller roads environmentally and...
