Friday 29th to Sunday 31st August is BICTON FEST - the successful new music Festival for Devon. We are excited to be working with the Music Mill to incorporate a third day to the weekend, the Big Gig, which celebrates 25 years of John Govier’ s contribution to the music scene in Devon. Think intimate and friendly, picnics and laughter, local food, beers and ciders, engulfed by amazing music…

Set within the 180 hectares of grounds and gardens at Bicton College and surrounded by the fields and woodlands of East Devon, BICTON FEST will showcase not only the best of Devon’s musical talent, but also some of the very best up and coming unsigned acts across the UK. These well-established musicians will be playing on two stages, overlooking the stunning lake, surrounded by entertainers, three bars and a huge choice of amazing local food.

Confirmed acts include Mad Dog McCrea, the hugely popular band from Plymouth with their unique mixture of folk rock, pop and gypsy jazz, together with Wille and The Bandits, who blew the roof off last year.

Popular local bands include the sensational Simmertones who deliver authentic Ska with a dash of reggae, together with local singer /songwriter 'Adam Isaac' and his band, the beautiful, foot stomping Sound of the Sirens and Vince Freeman of X Factor fame. Whatever your musical tastes, there will be something to tempt you.

The 3 day camping festival tickets are from just £35 and day tickets are also available, with all children under 12 going free. A fantastic price for a weekend of great music and sensory indulgence, you won’t want to leave.
