Over 70 people have risen to the Fun A Day challenge in Exeter, and now you can see the results at Positive Light Projects in Sidwell Street on 18th-19th March.

The challenge was to create something every day for throughout February (draw, paint, photograph, colour, bake, whatever and then exhibit your creations at the special exhibition run by local residents Stephen Fisher and Ali Lucas. The initiative has won the support of Exeter University and Exeter City Council.

Fun A Day was started in 2004 in Philadelphia, USA by a group of friends wanting to stay creative through the winter. It has since been adopted across the USA and has ventured as far as Dundee, Scotland.

One past participant baked a different kind of scone each day. Another played a game of chess each day and displayed photos of the 28 chess games.

Participants are only limited by their imagination and the need to keep things family friendly. Community involvement is always good, so working in groups or with friends is also encouraged.

Check out the Fun A Day Exeter website for more details.

Entry to the exhibition is free and the show runs from 11-4 on the Saturday and 12-4 on the Sunday at 184 Sidwell Street.
