Exeter hairdresser in line for national award

The finalists for HJ’s 2014 British Hairdressing Business Awards have been announced and Exeter’s Holly Baumgart of Jeff Goodwin Hair has been shortlisted for Junior of the Year.

After an intense judging process, category sponsors, key business associates and industry names that are respected for their vision and success, confirmed Holly as a leader within her field.

Along with five other finalists within each category, Holly will now face a two-month wait until winners are announced by a celebrity media host at the black tie ceremony on Monday 8 September at the Lancaster London Hotel. 

“To achieve finalist status in these awards is great recognition and a huge honour and Holly should be proud of her achievements. We received a record number of entries this year and the standard has been truly impressive and it is testament to Holly’s commitment and passion for her clients and team that she has a secured a place in the final,” said Executive Director, Jayne Lewis-Orr.

In addition to the above categories HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards reward and recognise the disciplines required to run a successful hairdressing business from Marketing, Training and Website/Innovation through to the skills of the Business Director, Franchisee, Salon Stylist, Manager and Salon Team.

Recognition is also given to those offering exceptional standards in Front of House service with the winning Salon of the Year demonstrating exceptional standards across all salon disciplines.

Finalists from each of the sixteen British Hairdressing Business Awards categories, along with leading industry names and esteemed guests will celebrate the very best of British business acumen at the ceremony held in the luxurious Lancaster London Hotel.
