Multi Academy AwardⓇ-winning animation studio, Aardman, is celebrating 30 years since the launch of Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers, and to celebrate, independent tea company Bird & Blend Tea Co. has created Wallace’s every day cuppa, More Tea Gromit?, to help keep him and all Wallace & Gromit fans fuelled while creating their marvellous inventions.

In the words of Wallace, it’s always time to “Get the kettle on, lad,” and as More Tea Gromit? is a “cracking” flavour, full of energising ingredients, it's perfect for sparking inventive ideas as well as being the perfect brew for breakfast and any time of the day.

More Tea Gromit? will be available in an exclusive celebratory gift cube featuring 12 individually wrapped, plastic-free tea bags, and is a blend of Sri Lankan Black Tea, Yerba Mate, Desiccated Coconut & Freeze-dried Cranberry.

On the collaboration, Jess Houston, Senior Manager – Publishing and Product Development, at Aardman said, “Aardman are thrilled to be working with Bird & Blend on a new Wallace & Gromit tea. Wallace and Gromit are great tea drinkers, and we know people will enjoy this drinkable tea blend. Aardman embrace licensing partnerships with creative companies large and small and we love supporting our local high streets. We know the Aardman experience can really help retailers bring back in-store events for consumers. We look forward to hearing how customers enjoy drinking their cracking cuppa!”

Bird & Blend, is a tea company committed to spreading happiness and reimagining tea.  Co-Founder Krisi Smith commented, “As a flavour creator, I took inspiration from the greatest inventor of all time, Wallace.

"Knowing he and Gromit would require a blend that would ignite new ideas, I opted for a traditional black breakfast tea but with a surprising and delightful twist.  I really had fun inventing this blend and as a business we’re thrilled to be a part of Aardman’s celebratory programme.”

You will find Bird & Blend Tea Co. on Exeter High Street, opposite Exeter Guildhall.
