It’s Hallowe’en season at A la Ronde, with lots of spooky half-term activities for any little ‘monsters’ who enjoy this frightful time of year.

From Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November there will be a pumpkin trail around A la Ronde and any children who find all the pumpkins will win a prize.

For those who want to get creative, there will also be a fun day on Tuesday 27 October. Bring your own pumpkin along for a carving session, or have a go at creating apple monsters - perfect for a fun snack or decorating the home.

With A la Ronde once described by Lucinda Lambton as having ‘a magical strangeness that one might dream of only as a child’; it’s the perfect place for parents and children alike to get into the ghoulish spirit of Hallowe’en.

Emma Kay, Visitor Experience Manager, says: ‘Hallowe’en has always been a fantastic occasion at A la Ronde. The house and curious contents and collections lend themselves towards the spooky and unfamiliar, even more so when decorated with pumpkins.’

Normal admission charges apply for entry to the house which is open from 11am to 5pm with last admissions at 4pm. The pumpkin trail and fun day are each £1.50 per child.
