Exeter Community Initiatives and Exeter City Football Club Supporters’ Trust launch Secret Santa appeal

Exeter Community Initiatives (ECI) and Exeter City Football Club Supporters’ Trust (ECFCST), have joined forces to launch a Secret Santa appeal.

The soaring cost-of-living has cast a shadow over many households this year, leaving families and individuals grappling with financial strains this Christmas.

To become a Secret Santa, simply donate £5, £10 or even £20 and ECI will send a Christmas gift of equal value to an individual or family.

Teresa Pollard, Exeter Community Initiatives’ Fundraising Manager, said: “In the spirit of the season, ECI and our partners, ECFCST, have joined forces to spread joy and warmth during this festive period and send a gift to those people who might be facing a tough Christmas.  Thank you in advance to everyone who donates to our appeal. Your contribution, no matter the size, will have a significant impact on spreading joy and hope in our community.”

A spokesperson from Exeter City Supporters’ Trust said: “We are delighted to have joined forces with ECI to launch this appeal.  Together, we can make this holiday season brighter for those who need it most. Every pound donated will go towards creating moments of joy and kindness for someone in our community.  From all of us at ECI and ECFCST, we extend our warmest thanks and wish you a Merry Christmas filled with love and goodwill.”
