Scrumpstock, a cider, scrumpy, ale and music festival, is coming to Devon.

The festival, previously entertaining cider drinkers in Somerset, will be held at Bicton College over the weekend of 24-25 May.

Scrumpstock representative Jim Fry explained why the decision was made to bring this fantastic festival to Devon. He said: "Whilst looking for a more rural, pleasing environment to hold our festivities we came across the splendid grounds of Bicton College who were only too happy to have us.

"Not only because we bring extra income to the college but also because of our Support of The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute (RABI) and The Young Farmer's Club of UK (YFC).

"Both these organisations do fantastic work in supporting the Farming Communities of Great Britain and never more so now following the devastating flooding of earlier this year."

The festival is set to not only benefit locals, but also local companies. Jim continued: "Scrumpstock also supports local farming communities by stocking, wherever possible, local, artisan ciders and ales and ensuring our food stalls do the same."

Scrumpstock, in it's third year this year, promises to deliver food, music, drink and good company.

Visitors can camp over the weekend in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the finest ciders, ales and food available.

Tickets are some of the most reasonably priced anywhere this summer with a weekend camping ticket for 4 only £100 (single adult ticket £28).

Artists playing include RedHillBillies and BigJoeBone.
