Visit The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth during the Easter holidays to take part in Donkey Grooming and a spectacular Easter Holiday Hunt.

The Sanctuary’s Easter activities will be taking place between Friday 27 March and Sunday 12 April and are sure to be a hit with children of all ages. Donkey Grooming takes place daily between 10.30am-2.30pm and, at £3 per person, is the perfect opportunity to make friends with some of the charity’s rescued donkeys.

Explore the Sanctuary’s walks and woodlands with the chocolatey Easter Holiday Hunt or get your daily dose of fresh air by picking up a Signs of Spring pack from the Visitors’ Centre for just £3 each.

On 2 April between 10.30am-2.00pm, children can have their face brightly painted and make their own Easter basket to take home ready for Easter Sunday!

In addition, the Sanctuary is also hosting a Bird Ringing Breakfast on 7 April from 9am-11am for £10 per person, giving participants the chance to get a privileged viewing of our feathered friends, with breakfast included. Booking is essential, for places call 01395 573156 or email events@thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk

The Donkey Sanctuary is open 365 days a year from 9.00am until dusk with free admission and parking. Proceeds raised from open days and events held throughout the year go towards The Donkey Sanctuary’s work worldwide.
