Head of Royal Marines Education Accreditation Richard Jenkins joins Bicton College as Head of Employer Engagement

Bicton College’s highly successful Apprenticeship team enjoyed a further boost this week as it welcomed former Royal Marine Richard Jenkins as Head of Employer Engagement.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge to the role at Bicton, following five years as Royal Marines Apprenticeships Manager, Richard has travelled extensively around the world engaged in military exercises and sporting events, including representing GB in the world Dragon Boat Championships, and being involved in several high intensity war operations.

Richard has long been an advocate of Bicton College and was the instigator of the Military Academy and recipient of the Bicton 2013 Jubilee Award for his contribution to the College. Richard’s daughter has also enjoyed success at Bicton, and will be moving on to university in October to study for a Sports Therapy Degree.
