Aquaplanet are pleased to launch the Paddle to the moon competition! The competition runs from January to June 2023, with the collective goal of travelling 384.4 million meters by the end of the mission. This sounds like a big challenge, however, if the paddleboarding community comes together it’s possible!

The competition comes with one big prize at the end of the competition, as well as monthly prizes for the paddler who has travelled the furthest during the month. There is still plenty of time to get out on the water and join the competition. Just don’t forget to stay safe, Aquaplanet have put together some handy top tips on staying safe in the water.

Why would I consider participating in Paddle to the moon?

The competition helps to bring together the paddleboard community to work together on this mission. The competition helps to promote healthy competition among paddlers thanks to the prizes on offer!

Other benefits can include:

- Making friends.

- Boosting your mood.

- Better fitness goals.

- Lose weight.

- Better sleep.

- A reason to paddle.

- Improved SUP technique.

- Healthy competition.

- An adventure!

What are the prizes?

The paddlers who paddle the furthest by the end of the mission are in with a chance to win a £600 paddleboard, which is perfect for kickstarting your paddleboard journey. To keep up the motivation during the mission, there are smaller prizes every month for the paddler who has travelled the furthest that month.

These smaller prizes will all be SUP themed, which will help enhance your SUP paddleboarding experience.

How do I enter the mission?

It couldn’t be easier to enter the mission and paddle to the moon! To enter, you need to track your progress on a SUP tracking app of your choice and upload it here. Just ensure you travel over 500m to qualify for the prizes.

So what are you waiting for? Join the mission and help the SUP community paddle to the moon!
