WBW solicitors open their new Southernhay office

WBW Solicitors’ new Southernhay office has been opened by the Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Rachel Lyons.

The firm has moved from their office in Queen Street to the Georgian building in Exeter’s professional quarter and held an open afternoon to give clients, colleagues and friends the opportunity to look around their new five-storey home.

A brass plaque was unveiled by Cllr Lyons, who said: “Like many thriving businesses in Exeter, it’s great to see WBW growing and moving to new larger premises and I congratulate them on their move and wish them continued success”.

Managing partner Steve Bulman said he was delighted to now be occupying the new building: “We are hopeful that this move will be a springboard to bigger and better things in Exeter for us, we are very keen to try and develop relationships in Southernhay particularly.
“Moving to the professional quarter improves our profile in Exeter and allows us to build on existing relationships in and around Southernhay; it also offers our clients greater opportunities to visit us.”

22 staff now occupy the new office which is located in the heart of Southernhay. Mr Bulman said: “with more space than before, we now have room for potential incoming staff as we are keen to grow the workforce. It’s our plan to grow and expand the Exeter office. It’s also an improvement for our staff being just off the new Princeshay development.”

WBW is emerging as one of the key players in the Devon legal world, having incorporated Torquay law firm Bynes earlier this year and steadily growing the number of staff employed in the practice.

Specialist teams for family, private client concerns, agriculture, business, civil and injury claims will be based in the office.
