The Exeter Daily has previously reported on the South West Blog Social, scheduled to take place at The Oddfellows Bar on New North Rd on Saturday 7th June.

Devised by noted local bloggers Jodie Dewberry (@alajode) and Albertine Brandon (@dippywrites), the event- the first of its kind in the South West- aims to bring together the very best in local blogging talent to provide an afternoon of advice and expertise to Exeter and regional businesses and individuals, with Jodie adding “We have worked hard not only to make sure that the event is as much fun as possible- but also to give it a real South West flavour”.

Local businesses signed-up to this innovative event include Urban Burger, Bon Gout Delicatessen, Erin Cox Jewellery, The Real McCoy, Good Golly Miss Molly, Otton's Haberdashery, No Guts No Glory, Exeter Trails, Bunyip Buttons and Beads, and Cafe at 36.

As a leading local Digital Agency with extensive experience in Digital Marketing and Content, Rokk Media were thrilled to be invited to attend the event and showcase some of their expertise alongside the other blogging experts. The Rokk Team, Chris and Tom, will be running a number of interactive workshops throughout the day entitled Blog Strategy, Structure and Basic SEO and hope to reveal a number of easy tips and tricks that could improve the structure, style and searchability of your blogs.

Chris Shadrick, Digital Marketing Consultant for Rokk Media commented “We are really happy to support this fantastic local event, and keen to share our knowledge in the area. Blogging is such an important part of the tech landscape and something of increasing importance to our clients. Helping clients produce unique, quality content can have massive SEO benefits and ultimately increase website traffic and rankings in search results.”

Writing good blogs can have a massive effect on a website’s success, and we’d like to help people do that.”
