Marsh Kia in Exeter is thrilled to announce that it is to sponsor Exeter City FC.

The dealership, which is part of the Marsh Garages Motoring Group, is fully embracing the new partnership, gifting the club with a brand new Kia Sportage!

The sponsorship comes at an exciting time for Exeter City FC, as their charity, Football in the Community, goes from strength to strength. Started by Exeter City FC and charged with inspiring young people through physical activity, education, health and social inclusion throughout Devon and parts of Somerset, Marsh Kia were keen to be involved in the recent 6-a-side tournament to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK (PCUK). The dealership team, consisting of several unlikely heroes, successfully battled through the initial stages, eventually ending fourth, and more importantly, raising £240 along the way for PCUK, a cause close to their hearts.

Additionally, Marsh Kia is thrilled to support Exeter City FC against Brazilian footballing giants, Fluminense, when they visit later this year. In 1914, Exeter City FC visited Rio De Janeriro, becoming the first team to play a Brazilian team. 101-years later, the Brazilian team are set to come to England to play against The Grecians.

Pete Underhill, Business Sales Manager at Marsh Kia, says: ”We are excited to be official sponsors of Exeter City FC, a really unique football club and a real force of good in the community, working as they do with over 50,000 young people a year. We are delighted to be able to provide them with a brand new Kia Sportage, and look forward to working with them even more in the future!”

Bruce Henderson, Business Development Manager at Exeter City FC, says: ”Exeter City FC is thrilled to be working with Marsh Kia. The dealership team is really great to work with, and the range of cars, including the amazing Kia Sportage, is extremely impressive. We were also very impressed with the valiant effort their team put in at our recent football charity tournament!”
