Award-winning theatre company, Live Wire Theatre, bring their 5 Star production of Jane Eyre: An Autobiography to The Barnfield Theatre Exeter on 11 and 12 October, following the production’s critically acclaimed sell-out preview week in July at The Rondo Theatre Bath.

Described by The British Theatre Guide as a “first class performance in what is undoubtedly a first class production” Dougie Blaxland’s adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s Gothic classic stars Bristol’s own Ali Campbell whose performance in the title role was highlighted by The Bath Chronicle as “rivalling anything I have seen in the theatre for a very long time.”

This classic tale tells the story of how from a miserable childhood controlled by uncaring adults, Jane Eyre makes her way to Thornfield as a Governess to the ward of the fascinating Mr Rochester. Dark and hidden secrets which lurk in every corner of this mysterious Gothic home threaten Jane’s hopes of happiness.

Previously nominated for Best Show at both Brighton and Edinburgh Festivals and for Time Out’s Critics’ Choice of the Week  Live Wire Theatre is rapidly establishing a reputation as one the country’s most exciting touring companies.

“Atmospheric and beautifully paced” Live Wire Theatre’s production of Jane Eyre: An Autobiography is a “must-see show” for all.

Performances are on Friday and Saturday, 11 and 12 October at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from The Barnfield Theatre Box Office on: 01392 271808.
