swcomms secures Microsoft accreditation

South West Communications Group has become a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider to offer an extended portfolio of business services to existing and potential customers.

As a 1-Tier partner, swcomms can provide an end-to-end customer experience for the implementation of Microsoft Office 365.

John Holdstock, swcomms’ ICT director, said: “We already help many customers with their data and business systems requirements either on their own premises or within one of our data centres. Our partnership with Microsoft means we can offer extended cloud-based services and this accreditation means we have reached the high capability standards required by Microsoft to ensure we can provide a great customer experience, including support.”

Microsoft Office 365 gives businesses the opportunity to use the applications they are familiar with - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, Access and Skype for Business - but rather than purchase new licences every few years and struggle with different employees using different software versions, they can use a highly resilient cloud-based service.

Microsoft Office 365 supports flexible working. It is easy to manage and provides cost savings on hardware and support.

Mr Holdstock added: “Our aim is to make everyday life easier for our customers, so they can turn to one supplier for all their communications and business application needs. Microsoft Office 365 is the latest in our fulsome portfolio that includes telephony, Internet connectivity, data networks and so much more.”

swcomms is offering a full suite of professional services and enhanced support, including migration to administration, to complement the Microsoft Office 365 offering.
