A roofing supplies business which set up its first store in February has launched its second location in Exeter, creating seven new jobs.

Roofbase has opened an 800 ft² shop, with a 13,500 ft² warehouse and a 6,000 ft² yard in Marsh Barton Trading Estate.

The company is an independent and specialist merchant providing for the full scope of roofing needs, with a team containing particular knowledge and skills in flat roofing. It aims to provide outstanding local service for roofing businesses in the area.

A £1 million flood prevention scheme in Axminster has been completed.

The Devon County Council scheme in Willhay Lane, which has widened and realigned the Millbrook culvert to improve its capacity and flow of water, now provides vital protection to over 160 homes.
