Brits drink 36 billion cups of tea every year* with at least one cup of tea enjoyed daily by 79 percent of brits, and almost 50 percent admitting to loving sipping on multiple cuppas every day, according to new research by tea mixologists Bird & Blend Tea Co.

The Victoria Inn, Exeter, recently welcomed local MP Ben Bradshaw for a comprehensive tour of their new-look pub, following a substantial six-figure investment from award winning Craft Union Pub Company.

Snark is now fully open at her berth at Piazza Terracina. The first three weeks have been a great success with over 100 happy diners enjoying our Moorish set dinners and brunches.

For the next two weeks they head to Italy with a four course warming autumnal menu of classic Italian dishes; preserved meats and vegetables, rich pastas, hearty stews and luscious deserts. Mellow Italian wines and English ale sold over the bar.

They also have a number of special winter festival meals planned over the next two months as well as some pop-up special dinners on Wednesday evenings...

Families looking for Halloween fun this October half term can try their hand at pumpkin carving - and eating – at a series of five family events across Devon.

Once you’ve carved your pumpkin, learn how to use the seeds and flesh to make a delicious soup and muffins, and take home a free recipe book by Hubbub .

Barny Butterfield, chief cider maker at Sandford Orchards, and in-house cider maker at the Darts Farm small batch cidery, will be at Darts Farm on Sunday 22nd October pressing apples from gardens around the area to create the Darts Farm x Sandford Orchards’ Community Blend Cider 2023.

Locals are encouraged to drop their homegrown apples between 11am and 4pm from Saturday 14th until Sunday 22nd October, when they can watch Barny press them using Darts Farm’s 140 year-old stow cloth press. The juice will then be left to slowly ferment away on native yeasts in vats in The Farm Table...
