Now in its 4th year, the Paignton Harbour Festival, Torbay’s friendliest family seafood and music festival takes place at the harbour on Saturday 28th July, founded by Crabstock’s Adrian Bartlett and Alan Henderson, Operations Manager for the Blue Sea Food Company, (formerly Browse Brothers) with their committee including Paignton’s Harbourmaster Simon Pinder and local Paignton townspeople to raise awareness of the harbour area and money for the Brixham Fishermans Mission and South Devon and Channel Shellfishermen Association.

The Crediton Parish Church Flower Festival has introduced some unusual visitors to the church in the last few years.

In 2016 a 1929 Austin car was part of the exhibits with flowers and last year a rhino became part of a flower display. More information, including photos and videos of previous Flower Festivals can be seen on the Flower Festival Facebook page www.facebook.com/creditonparishchurchfestivals .

Stunning bird photography to be displayed at Seaton Wetlands

Weekend visitors to East Devon District Council’s Seaton Wetlands will be treated to beautiful photography of birds in Devon taken by members of the Devon Birds Group.

The exhibition, which is on display until Sunday 10 June, will be displayed in the Reed Base at Seaton Wetlands and will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays. There is no charge to view the exhibition but donations can be left.
