The Exeter branch of the Campaign for Dignity in Dying is holding a film screening event in Exeter on Friday 28th April at 7pm.

Local people are invited to watch How to Die in Oregon, an award-winning documentary following the journey of several terminally ill people as they explore the choices available to them. This includes assisted dying which has been legal in Oregon for 20 years.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with members of the Exeter Branch of the Campaign for Dignity in Dying – a national organisation which is campaigning for a change in the law to include the option of assisted dying for terminally ill, mentally competent adults.

The screening is free of charge and starts at 7pm on Friday 28th April at the Quaker Meeting House, Wynards Lane, Magdelen St, Exeter, EX2 4HU (over 16s only).
