PLACE your bets on the grand Kenniford Farm piglet race, enjoy live music and devour a delicious hog roast as part of a host of fun activities at the farm’s open day.

Kenniford Farm, which is just a few miles from Exeter in Clyst St Mary, is opening its gates to the public as part of Open Farm Sunday.

As well as stalls, local beer and entertainment for all ages, there will be a chance to look behind the scenes at the farm, and meet the pigs - from the tiny newborn piglets to the fully-grown sows rolling in the sandy fields.

The event takes place from 11am until 3pm.

It will also feature sausage making demonstrations, nature walks, a hog roast and barbecue, live music, a local beer and cider tent, cream teas, tractors and farm machinery and face painting. The farm also has a play area for young children and a café.

Kenniford Farm is signposted from the Sidmouth Road after Clyst St Mary. Due to the livestock on the farm people are unable to bring dogs.
