Come and see us on Saturday 15th August and Sunday 16th August (10am-4pm both days) where you’ll have the chance to peek behind the scenes at River Cottage and meet the team and the animals and of course enjoy the very best of what’s in season from our River Cottage food.

With a weekend packed full of activities and entertainment including puppet shows, bouncy castle, pig racing, pottery workshops, skittles, garden games, hula hooping, welly wanging and face painting for the kids. The Munchkins Miniature Shetland Rescue Centre will be bringing their ponies along, there will be falconry displays, cookery demonstrations and talks on the Main Stage, tours of the farm, blacksmithing, weaving and woodturning demonstrations, local food and craft market stalls and gardening tips.
And more for the grown-ups, the Heron Valley cocktail yurt serving refreshing seasonal pitchers, our decking area brimming with talks and live music from Jemima Farey, Gareth & Annie and No Country for Old Men - the perfect way to wile away the afternoon.

And kicking off the Summer Fair at our Friday Gig Night is the fantastic Joey the Lips and we are delighted to welcome Tankus the Henge to River Cottage on Saturday evening, so you can dance until the sun goes down!
We will be sending out wristbands in the post a week before the event. Under 12s go free and do not require wristbands.

Tickets must be purchased beforehand from our website in order to gain entry.

• Our licensed bar will be open each day, serving a selection of local beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks.
• There will be lunch and refreshments available to buy throughout the day. These are not included in the ticket price.
• Your entry wristbands will be posted to you 1-2 weeks before the event. Please wear them on the day, as entry will not be permitted without them.
• Under-12s can enter the Fair free and will not require wristbands.
• Car parking is free and available onsite in our fields.
• This event is mainly outside. There will be marquees and some undercover spaces, but please check the weather forecast, our social media and our website beforehand and dress accordingly.
• We’re sorry – to protect our livestock, dogs are not allowed on the site.
