Paignton Zoo is holding its first ever Wedding Fair on Wednesday 27th February. Organised by Archant, the event will run from 4.00pm to 8.00pm. It will be free to visit, though donations on the day are welcome. Paignton Zoo is a registered charity.

Paignton Zoo and Living Coasts – Torquay’s coastal zoo – can cater for weddings, civil ceremonies, naming ceremonies and receptions. Marketing Manager Naomi Lang said: “Paignton Zoo is one of the most romantic places for a date, to propose to a loved one, or to work – several of our staff have fallen in love here and got married!”

There will be a chance to enter a free prize draw to win wedding venue hire at Paignton Zoo.

Trudy Bryan, Paignton Zoo functions manager, said: “At Paignton Zoo you can get married in various buildings around the site, including the Whitley Room, the Ark Theatre and the Island Restaurant, as well as on the tiger viewing platform and in the lion viewing area.”

Paignton Zoo Environmental Park is a registered charity. For more information go to www.paigntonzoo.org.uk or ring 0844 474 2222.
