Nominations for this year’s NatWest Venus Awards will open at a launch party in Exeter on Thursday 21st May 2015.

The awards aim to celebrate and recognise the achievements of the county’s working women and entrepreneurs.

The Devon Venus awards celebrated its second year last year and attracted more than 2,000 nominations. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before and will be launched at an evening ceremony at the city’s historic Exeter Castle.

The Devon Venus Awards regional partner, Celia Delaney, of SpeakingSuccess, expressed her excitement for this year’s Venus awards: “This is an extra special Venus Awards for me this year as it will be my last as regional partner.

"It has been an honour to help celebrate women in business these last three years.

"I’m delighted to handover to Alexis Bowater who will become the new regional partner for The Devon Venus Awards. I have no doubt that she will do an amazing job.

"The launch at Exeter Castle will mark the official opening of the nominations. It will be a great networking opportunity for sponsors as well as potential nominees.

"I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone.”

Sponsors of The Devon Venus Awards 2015 so far include: NatWest, Bishop Fleming, The Exeter Daily, Sampson Hall, Wizard Jeans, Brend Hotels, and Astley Media as the official PR sponsor.

The Devon Venus Awards 2015 launch party will be held at Exeter Castle, Castle Street, Exeter between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday 21 May 2015.
