Night to remember at racecourse

Champagne, a glorious British picnic and beauty treatments will all combine to make an evening at Exeter Racecourse on May 6 a memorable experience.

For just £49 per person, or £450 per table of ten, Exeter’s Ladies’ Night package will allow guests to indulge in a wonderful experience from the luxury of a private suite. One of Exeter’s top salon’s, Amanda Marsden Aveda Lifestyle Salon, will provide unforgettable treatments, racing tipster and TV pundit Luke Harvey will give his advice on the night’s winners and there will be a glass of bubbles on arrival.

There are incredible prizes to win for the best dressed ladies and gentlemen including a three night break at Gara Rock near East Portelemouth in South Devon where there are luxury self catering cottages, including an indoor spa, a weekend at award winning hotel the Arundell Arms, hampers from Devon Hampers, treatments from Amanda Marsden Aveda Lifestyle Salon and clothing from Leonard Coombe Master Saddlers and Country Life.

After racing, there’s a disco to dance the night away.

General manager Tim Darby said: “Ladies’ night at Exeter, which is very much for male racegoers too, is the finale to our season and there is always a wonderful atmosphere. There prizes we have this year are fantastic and everyone has a chance of winning. They just need to dress up and enjoy themselves!”

The first race is currently scheduled for 5.50pm.  Gates open at 3.50pm.  Grandstand and Paddock admission is £15 while Premier admission is £20.  Savings of up to 25% on adult admission can be made when purchasing tickets by May 2 and there are discounts for bookings of ten or more with tickets just £10. The special ladies’ night package is £49 person or £450 for tables of ten. All accompanied children under the age of 18 will be admitted free of charge. There is a free bus from Exeter St Davids at 4.15pm and Exeter Bus and Coach Station at 4.30pm.
