New care home breaks ground in Exeter

National care provider, Barchester Healthcare recently marked the start of their newest luxury care home build in Exeter, Cumberland Grange Care Home, which is under construction by Halsall by putting 

Andy Williams, Senior Property Development Manager at Barchester met with Clive Fletcher Senior Contracts Manager for Halsall to take a tour of the work in progress. 

After the tour, Andy said: "The Exeter Barchester site was very impressive. The new care home will be an important facility for the district and a very welcome source of employment."

The 65-bed care home in Exeter will also provide high quality care services, as well as dedicated dementia care in Barchester’s unique Memory Lane Communities.

Andy continued: “We are very excited about the construction of our new care home in and we are lucky that our prospective residents will have a home set in such beautiful grounds.

“There is a real need for quality care in the local area and our new home will definitely meet this, and potentially give a boost to employment in neighbouring communities.” 

Senior Contracts Manager of Halsall Clive Fletcher commented: “we are delighted to be starting on site for our Barchester Healthcare project in Exeter. Barchester Healthcare’s Exeter care home will open in November 2020 and will deliver personalised residential care as well as personalised dementia care in Barchester’s unique Memory Lane Community.
