The residents at Angela Court Nursing Home were treated to an afternoon garden party to rival that at Buckingham Palace!

Aside from residents and their families, visitors included the local school teachers and children who sang beautifully, as well as The Sidmouth ‘Living with Cancer’ group.

Angela Court, at Tipton St John, is recognised as an Investor in People and cares for some of the most vulnerable elderly in the community; the care team boasts an excellent reputation for its high quality care.

The home has the advantage of an elevated position, with extensive, well-tended gardens and breathtaking ‘countryside’ views from all angles of the home.

Home Manager Teresa Docherty said “Luckily we had wonderful weather and it meant that many of the residents were able to come out and sit in the sun for the afternoon. There was a wonderful atmosphere and the children that sang provided wonderful entertainment for the afternoon. As always, a huge thanks to all those who helped contribute to making the afternoon so special”.
