Appeal following Honiton burglaries

Police in Honiton are appealing for information following two burglaries in the Town.

Two burglaries took place at static homes located on Otter Valley Park in Honiton, sometime between 1pm on Friday 6 August and 8am on Saturday 7 August.

Both properties were entered by forcing a door and once inside and following an untidy search items of property, many valued at thousands of pounds and of sentimental value were stolen.

In one of the properties a number of watches including a Zenith watch valued at £2,500 and a gold ring valued at £2,900 were stolen, along with porcelain and a crown derby plate, and a number of sovereign coins dating back to 1908.

Also stolen was a Royal Dolton pink lady figurine, a sovereign mount, a Beswick hound figurine and an engagement ring (all pictured).

In the second property items including a ladies DKNY watch, jewellery including necklaces and a quantity of cash were stolen.
