Exeter Street Food will be hosting The Christmas Street Food Party at The Quay, Exeter on Tuesday 23 December between 5.30pm and 9.30pm, celebrating the finale of it’s street food events in 2014.

Even if you’re not a foodie between the live music, the ‘festive’ pop-up pub and beautiful light display you should still have a good time.

The live music line up is looking great with singer Charlotte Ward recently featured on BBC, introducing singer Sadie Holer who is only sixteen but has the most amazing voice and twenty-two piece jazz band The Locked Horns headlining.

Exeter Street Food’s Managing Director Karen Skerratt explains: “After the successful launch of the The Quay Night Markets back in September it feels only fitting that we celebrate what we have all achieved in 2014 with a Street Food Party.

"When we say all, we mean it, between the Quay tenants, Exeter City Council, the Guildhall Shopping Centre and loyal traders they have all played an integral part in supporting this market, bring on 2015!”

This is the first year that the transit shed has a beautiful light display, which was turned on by the Lord Mayor of Exeter. The Guildhall Shopping Centre team, well known for their amazing displays in the city centre, sponsored and arranged them with much praise and thanks by the Quay tenants.

Martin Nelmes, operations manager said: “We are delighted to work with Exeter Street Food, Exeter City Council and the Quayside businesses in providing the shoppers and tenants of the Quay with some festive lighting for the transit Shed.”

The transit shed also seems to lend it’s self well to Street Food in Britain, with that extra cover just incase of a shower. Even if you decide to eat & drink at the Pop-up Pub run by the Prospect Inn which has lots of undercover seating outdoor or indoor.

Local quay businesses will be open for other food & drink options or last minute gifts including the likes of Samuel jones, quay presents, saddles and paddles, On the waterfront and The Prospect Inn.

Dates for 2015: The Quay Night Markets will be held on the first Thursday of every month.
