With a brand new location for 2017, the Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) Rainbow Run at Westpoint Arena, looks set to be the charity’s best ever.

With a full event village planned with music and entertainment, this year’s run is definitely a family day out with a difference.

Jayne Jarrett, events fundraiser at CHSW said: ‘We simply love our Rainbow Run as it is such a fun event, children from five are able to take part making it a really great family experience. We are thrilled to be able to bring this event to Westpoint and with so much planned for our event village, this is so much more than a fun run!’

Funds raised from the run will help the charity’s Little Bridge House hospice near Barnstaple which cares for life-limited children throughout Devon. Offering support for the whole family, including brothers and sisters, the hospice aims to provide home from home care and a place to create special family memories. As one parent staying at the hospice said: ‘The memories we made at the hospice helped us through the difficult times and the happy moments we were able to share as a whole family.’

By taking part in the family Rainbow Run, you will be helping to make the most of short and precious lives, whilst having a great time too!

The Rainbow Run is a 5km run where participants get showered in different coloured powder paint as they pass through paint stations along the route. Participants can run, jog or walk the route around the racecourse and children over the age of five are most welcome.

Until the end of February, you can sign up for the run at 2016 prices. For more information see www.chsw.org.uk/rainbowexeter
