A team from Carling Technologies in Exeter is training hard for their charity cycle ride from Exeter to Paris – all in support of Children’s Hospice South West.

The ride will take place from the 27 – 30 May and the team has set themselves a target of raising £50k for the hospice which cares for children, and their families, who are not expected to live until adulthood.

Naomi Dymond, corporate fundraiser at the Little Bridge House hospice in Devon, was on hand to dole out cups of tea to the riders and said: ‘We are so delighted to have the support of Carling Technologies and it was great to be able to meet so many of the team before they set off on their training cycle back to Exeter.’

‘It costs over £3million to fund our services for children and families in Devon and we rely almost entirely on voluntary donations, so this amazing fundraising ride will really make a difference to making the most of short and precious lives.’

The team has set up at fundraising page at http://bit.ly/1LpPpJC and if your company would like to find out more about how you can support the charity, see www.chsw.org.uk/corporate
