Can you help us please?

We urgently need CD’s, DVDs, PC games and books, so we can stock up our charity shops in time for the big Christmas rush.

As a local charity we needs £6.1m to run our vital services and we're hoping Exeter Daily readers can help us raise £30,000 from this appeal.

Your donation will contribute to helping hundreds of terminally people and their families living across Exeter, East and Mid Devon.

The donated items will be sold in our 19 Hospiscare charity shops and online from the our retail warehouse, the Hospiscare Enterprise Centre in Marsh Barton.

Our picture shows our team piling high goods already sent in and the other images are of patients and their families who we have helped.

Helen Hutter, Hospiscare head of retail, said: “We’re urgently asking Exeter Daily readers to help us.

"We’ve already had a good response from Hospiscare staff and volunteers, local people and businesses, now we’re directly asking Daily readers if they can sort out their unwanted entertainment goods and hand them into us before the middle of November, so we can be ready for the big Christmas rush.

“We are so grateful for the goods already given and would really appreciate more to help us reach our target and continuing giving great, expert care to local people.”

Please donate at your nearest Hospiscare shop or at the Hospiscare Enterprise Centre in Trusham Road, Marsh Barton, EX2 8RB.
