Guests to Crealy Adventure Park & Resort this May Half Term are in for a treat, as they’ll be amongst the first to climb aboard the brand new giddy galleon with Captain Crealy and his shipmates! Unlike other pirate ship rides, The Jolly Roger rocks and spins simultaneously, so riders really do feel like they are on high seas.

To mark the opening of the Jolly Roger, Crealy will host Pirate Week from Saturday 27th May to Sunday 4th June. Captain Crealy and his shipmates will be performing live shows on the Piazza Stage across May half term including family favourite, Off to Pirates Cove. There will also be cutlass workshops for little pirates in the making and Captain Crealy will be scouting for new shipmates too!

Children visiting the award-winning theme park will enjoy taking their driving test and earning a driving licence at Crealy’s other new ride, the Junior Driving School. Young drivers will delight in manoeuvring colourful, scaled Minis around the track, while learning and obeying the rules of the road – some may even choose to take a parent for a spin in the spare seat!

The echo of laughter will fill the park on Wednesday 31st May as Jungle Jim performs his hilarious ventriloquism comedy show, that’s suitable for all ages. One of best ventriloquists in the world, Jimmy Tamley has an incredible wide variety of vocal skills and his characterisation is just plain hilarious. He’ll be performing his show, featuring the most entertaining audience participation you will ever see, at 11.00am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm.

Sunday 4th June sees the hugely popular Pop in the Park return to Crealy, with live music spots from exciting tribute acts, all included in your admission cost. This pop-tastic event will be presented by Radio Exe's Ben Clark and feature spectacular Rihanna, Black Eye Peas and Olly Murs tribute acts, performing at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.00pm.

Josh Haywood, General Manager at Crealy Adventure Park and Resort said: “May half term is always a highlight of our year at Crealy and this year we have more going on than ever! We are looking forward to seeing lots of faces light up when they experience the thrill of the new Jolly Roger and become better drivers than their parents at Junior Driving School! We’re excited to be hosting Pop in the Park again and welcoming back the hilarious Jungle Jim too.”
