The Bideford Witches

Temperance Lloyd, Susannah Edwards and Mary Trembles of Bideford were the last three women to be executed for witchcraft in Great Britain. Come With Me

Helen Duff’s on a quest for ultimate pleasure. Self identifying as a sperm, she takes her audience on an “absolutely shameless, boldly ridiculous, embarrassingly funny journey” to achieve the sexiest climax of the season. Expect to be aroused, amused and maybe a little bit frightened by the lengths she’ll go to achieve her first Big O.

Sidmouth Folk Week

A unique week-long celebration of music, dance and song. Branscombe Festival
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, Branscombe
The Branscombe Festival combines world-class musicians with an idyllic countryside setting. Over three days, leading classical and opera artists perform in the village’s most picturesque venues, with cream tea served on Saturday afternoon and a hog roast that evening. The festival culminates in a free concert on Branscombe beach by the Camborne Town Band. www.branscombefestival.co.uk

Lapstock - Music at the Mill
Friday & Saturday, Lapford Mill, near Crediton
The 10th year for this two day music festival. Following Friday night’s free event showcasing young local talent, Saturday's show features 15 bands on three stages including Echo Town, Lionstar, White Station and Ten Zero One. Brilliant bats, marvellous moths and ghostly goatsuckers

Flower Power: Botanical illustrations from India
RAMM, Queen Street, Exeter
An exhibition of beautiful early 19th-century illustrations of Indian flora exploring the plants’ usage in traditional Ayurvedic and modern medicine. Part of Naturally Inspired: RAMM’s season of botanicals, gardens and landscapes. The exhibition runs until 11 September. http://www.rammuseum.org.uk

Fashion to dye for
Killerton House, Broadclyst, Exeter
Killerton's latest exhibition 'Fashion to dye for', will be opening its doors to invite people into the wardrobe to discover how colours, dyes and design shaped fashion history. From a 50's red silk gown (said to have belonged to Princess Margaret), to a 70's blue denim jacket and flares and a young boys red dress - colour can reveal much about the wearer. The collection brings to life how colour can reveal much about the wearer and also looks into the origins, status and function of colour in fashion. THG Open 2016

The THG Open celebrates the rich and varied talent of artists living in the South West. It is a perfect opportunity to view and purchase work by some of the best established and emerging artists from across the region. Laura Reeves: Bouquets
