Avenue Q is an irresistibly charming musical which tells the story of the loveable characters on a downtown New York street trying to make sense of life’s burning issues. Man Found!

Land of the Giants

Land of the Giants are a funky upbeat, highly addictive six piece band from Plymouth. Their music fuses many musical styles, from rock to reggae, ska to blues, with a sub heavy helping of dub in the mix. They are renowned for their extraordinary energy on stage, and causing non-stop all out partying on dance floors and in fields around the UK, with this reputation they are becoming a firm festival favourite. Last Night of the Proms Charity Concert
Saturday, 7pm, Downes House, Crediton
Join the Salamanca and Waterloo Bands of The Rifles and local veterans to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the RASC/RCT Association. Local soprano Penny Daw and Centre Stage will entertain us with songs from the musicals. Bring a picnic and enjoy the wonderful garden.  Open 6pm, concert starts at 7pm and ends at approximately 9.30pm. Lemonfest

Pecorama Heritage Steam Weekend

Roof & Tower Tours
Saturday, 10.30am, Exeter Cathedral
The fascinating behind-the-scenes tours take you into the roof void high above the Nave of Exeter Cathedral, into the south tower, through the spaces in the north tower and onto the roof to enjoy the best views of Exeter (and beyond). Antique and Vintage Home Show

RSPB family friendly nature walk
Saturday, 2pm, RSPB Shop, Darts Farm, Topsham, Exeter
Family friendly walks which showcase the beautiful surrounding farmland and wetlands - a great chance to get out and see some wildlife. The RSPB’s resident expert will be alongside to answer questions and point things out. 2pm-3pm (binoculars available for hire). RSPB members free, non-members £3.

Cadbury Church Festival of Bells and Flowers
Saturday, 11am, St Michael and All Angels Church, Cadbury  EX5 5LA
Cadbury Bells and Flowers festival is a celebration of rural living with the 15th Century Church Bells being rung out by the local bell ringers. Inside the church will be bursting with stunning floral arrangements with a nod to the farming heritage of the parish.  The church boasts a stunning medieval stain glassed window and Norman font. Homemade cakes, teas and coffees will be available to buy as well as plant sale. Donations will go to Church development projects. Open 11am-4pm.

Inside Outside Craft Market
Sunday, 10am, Transit Shed, Exeter Quay
Lots and lots of lovely arts, crafts and gifts - all hand made by local makers. Face painting, spinning/weaving demonstrations, Devon Fudge, charity bookstall and live music by two of Exeter's best and favourite street musicians.  Come and browse and enjoy the serendipity of our lovely quayside and historic Custom House.   10am - 5pm.

Classic Car Show

Posters from the Past Masters
Brook Gallery, Exeter
Many of the world's leading artists have enjoyed making posters for their exhibitions. These often took the form of original lithographs, printed by some of the great Parisian ateliers. The poster, by nature, is ephemeral and mint copies are rare so Brook Gallery are delighted to exhibit a selection of these striking prints. Inspired by Dartmoor
Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre, Princetown
Visitors to the National Park Visitor Centre in Princetown can enjoy an exhibition of the work of four members of the West Dartmoor Art Group. David Mather, Peter Blake, John Streeter and Gloria Sprague will be exhibiting a selection of paintings in different media, all inspired by their love of Dartmoor.  The exhibition runs until Thursday 30 June and the centre is open daily,10am-5pm. http://www.dartmoor.gov.uk/visiting
