Hotter, cheekier and funnier than ever, touring cabaret show The Lady Boys of Bangkok bring their lavish new production Who Runs the World! to Exeter next month.

Elections and referendums may come and go, but in the stakes for the best party night out in town, there’s no doubt where the popular vote goes.

Who Runs the World! is not a political question, it’s a “positive celebration of the fair sex” performed by 16 of Thailand’s most stunning Lady Boys.

A spokesman said: "Audiences can escape the drab greyness of everyday life and luxuriate in a colourful, euphoric, bubble of laughter, beauty, glitz and music.

"The entertainment never lets up as the attractive seductiveness of Hollywood and the stylish glitz of Las Vegas meet the great traditions of classic British music hall."

With more songs and big-scale musical production numbers than you could pout a painted lip at, the Lady Boys pay tribute to a host of stars ranging from Beyonce, Rihanna, Nikki Minaj, Fifth Harmony to Gloria Gaynor, Boy George, Pitbull, Sir Tom Jones and Queen Latifah - the list goes on.

The Lady Boys of Bangkok offer a show like no other cabaret, performed by stunning "showgirls" like no other showgirls – all are Thai males… apart from Trevor. He comes from Lancashire and is lovingly known to audiences up and down the country as ‘the little guy".

This is a party like no other party with girls like no other girls. Get ready to laugh, enjoy and sing your heart out, nobdody leaves without a smile on their face and a song in their heart.

The Lady Boys of Bangkok show is at the Exeter Phoenix on Wednesday 7 June. There will be two performances of the show, at 5pm and 8pm.

Ticket: £23 (£21) avaialble from the Exeter Phoenix  Box Office on 01392 667080 or online at www.exeterphoenix.org.uk
