Volunteer Sandy Hogan has raised over £1,700 for leading local advice charity, Citizens Advice Exeter, and Tommy’s; a charity which promotes research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.

Sandy said: “I have volunteered with Citizens Advice for over 30 years and have met so many great people and learned a lot in the process. I wanted to support this essential service so that it can continue to help people at a time of crisis.”

Sandy continued: “I also wanted to support Tommy’s because there is still so little publicity about miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth and how common it is. It has also had an impact on my own family.”

Sandy finished by saying: “I am completely overwhelmed by the support I have received from my friends, family, colleagues and other supporters. The experience of the sky dive is something that I will never forget and it was a challenge which was both exhilarating and terrifying. I am so glad I did it!”

It is not too late to sponsor Sandy. Her Virgin Money Giving page remains open until the end of May.
