Devon’s Crealy sweeps the board in Primary Times Star Awards 2014

Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park has been awarded the overall winner of the annual Primary Times Reader Star Awards. The hugely popular all weather family attraction won a large percentage of votes with readers impressed with the range of facilities, variety of children’s activities and overall appeal of the Park which ticked all the right boxes for families.

The anticipated and much coveted Family Attraction category was also awarded to Devon’s Crealy Adventure Park. In addition to this, another hotly-contested category of the Halloween Event also went to the Park, with readers enjoying their annual spooky activities.

Parents of children aged 4 to 11 across Devon were asked to complete a survey that appeared in the Primary Times magazine that is distributed to 90% of primary schools across Devon and taken home directly to mum and dad via the children. In addition, many families cast nominations online via the Primary Times website – www.primarytimes.net.

Linda Edwards, Publishing Editor at Primary Times Devon said: “We are absolutely thrilled with this year’s response to the Reader Star Award survey and I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part. We applaud all the individual winners of each category and in particular we’d like to congratulate Devon’s Crealy on successfully winning the prestigious accolade of being the overall winner and congratulate their efforts in making their attraction such a hit with our readers.”

“Chris Down, Managing Director of Crealy Great Adventure Parks said: “We are delighted to have won the Primary Times Devon Overall Winner award and the Family Attraction of the Year in Devon award for the 4th year running. We are also thrilled to have won the new Primary Times award for the Favourite Halloween Event. The results of the votes, from the parents of primary school aged children, mean so much to all the team at our Devon Park and demonstrates that we are getting things right and meeting the expectations of families from all over the county. To win these awards really is a great achievement for us and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Primary Times readers who voted for us. While 2014 has been a fantastic year, celebrating our 25th anniversary and seeing the launch of five new rides and attractions, we are very excited about what’s new for 2015 and look forward to welcoming both new and returning guests to the Park.”
