100 Exeter jobs to be created by blur Group
100 jobs will have been created in Exeter by local business blur Group by the end of 2014.
blur Group, is continuing to create jobs in the city today announcing the appointment of Shaun Barker as its new Head of Engineering and Dorian Tireli as its new Head of Design, at the Group'sGlobal HQ in Exeter.
blur Group operate around the world as a Global Service Exchange providing business ervices around the world brought on to meet the increasing demands of modern big business.
Shaun joins blur with over 12 years of cross-platform and sector experience, including roles at Expedia and Rule Financial. Shaun’s role at blur Group is to develop best-in-class software products within a fast-paced development environment.
Dorian is originally from Milan where he held the position of Head of User Experience and Product design at Italia Online, Italy’s best known Web portal. He brings with him over 20 years of digital innovation experience, which he will put to good use in his new position as blur’s ‘design advocate.’
Commenting on his appointment, Shaun said: "I never thought I would be lucky enough to find an outstanding role like this right on my homeland doorstep. I am originally from Cornwall and have a love affair with the South West - so being able to come home and work for an amazing company really is the dream opportunity.”
Dorian said: “It is very exciting to join an international company that values creativity and innovation as blur does, and to be able to work in such beautiful surroundings with access to a top university such as Exeter.”
