Fresh appeal over Bradninch hit and run

The family of an injured man who was involved in a serious collision on Saturday 11 June 2016 have received anonymous information about the collision.

Police would now like to trace the person who provided the family with this anonymous information.

Police were notified just after 11.30pm on Saturday 11June 2016 Police to reports of a hit and run road traffic collision on West End Road, Bradninch.

A 53-year-old local male was located in the road with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.

The incident was investigated by officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Team who unfortunately were unable to identify the driver or vehicle involved.

The family of the injured male have recently received anonymous information about the collision which they have passed on to the investigation team.

MPC Nigel Cox said: “The victim is still recovering from the injuries he sustained as a result of this incident.

“We are asking for the person who gave the information to the family to contact police or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
